Are you overpaying for dedicated internet?

Enter your speed, market, and monthly cost. We compare it to real wholesale carrier data marked up to typical retail, so you know in seconds if your DIA bill is out of line.

How DIA pricing works

Dedicated internet access is priced on a monthly recurring charge (MRC) that varies by speed, metro, and whether your building is already on a carrier's fiber. Two buildings on the same street can pay very different rates. The biggest overpayment usually comes from an auto-renewed contract that quietly reset to rate card, and from side fees stacked on top of the MRC.

Common questions

What is a normal price for dedicated internet (DIA)?

For business fiber DIA, 1 Gbps typically runs about $1,050 to $1,605 a month depending on the metro, and 500 Mbps runs about $840 to $1,315. Smaller markets and off-net buildings push higher. If you are well above these ranges, you have room to renegotiate.

Why is my DIA bill so much higher than these ranges?

The two biggest drivers are off-net construction (a new fiber build to your building) and an auto-renewed contract that reset to rate card. A competing quote from a second carrier is usually enough to move the price.

Is this a quote?

No. It is an estimate from wholesale carrier data marked up to typical retail, to show whether your rate is in line with the market. Your exact price depends on the building, term, and carrier. Upload your bill for a line-by-line analysis.
